Wrestlemania 33 Fantasy Picks

Wrestlemania is this Sunday, and Sports From the Basement is proud to be launching the first WWE Daily fantasy game.  Here is who I am picking in my lineup for the Wrestlemania  33 Slate.

Charlotte Flair ($9,500)

Charlotte saw her PPV streak broken last month vs Bayley, but I am putting my money on her to regain the title here.  As an added bonus, you can get Charlotte for less than Bayley and Sasha Banks.  In a fatal four way elimination match, there should be more time for the match to develop, meaning more signature and finishing moves.  Those extra moves can rack up the points, and when you add the 10 bonus points for a championship victory, it makes Charlotte a no brainer.

Kevin Owens ($9,500)

While you could make a case for someone other than Charlotte winning the Raw Women’s title match, it’s a virtual lock that Kevin Owens is walking out of Wrestlemania with the US Championship.  When you can practically bank 30 points before the match even starts, it makes for a good play.

Becky Lynch ($7,200)

Alexa Bliss and Mickie James also cost the same amount, which plays into the unpredictable nature of this match.  I like all three of those ladies, but I am going with Lynch because I think this is her time to win the title back.  I also expect the match to get a little more time due to it being on the pre-show, which should add to more points for the wrestling moves.

Seth Rollins ($6,800)

My only non-title match choice on this slate, I expect Rollins and HHH to have a classic brawl.  I also expect HHH to kick out of a pedigree or two, but you don’t lose points if someone kicks out of your finisher, so that means more points for me!

Dean Ambrose ($8,500)

This is my contrarian play, as many expect Baron Corbin ($7,700) to walk out with the strap.  I disagree with that thought, and fully expect Ambrose to successfully defend the title here.

Enzo Amore/Big Cass ($8,600)

While you will not get the points for a lot of wrestling moves due to this now being a ladder match, there will be a lot of strikes, as well as likely a table or two.  So there are points to be had in this bout, and I will profit off of Enzo & Cass’ Wrestlemania moment.

I couldn’t fit him into this lineup, but Roman Reigns ($11,000) is another one I am very high on.  It will most likely take multiple Spears and Superman punches for Reigns to put the Undertaker away, and those signature moves can mean a barrage of points for your fantasy team.

John Cena & Nikki Bella ($8,200)

It is a forgone conclusion that Cena and Nikki are going to win, and they will likely win with stereo Attitude Adjustment’s, but other than that I don’t expect a lot of action in this match.  The entrances and post-match shenanigans will likely be twice as long as the actual bout.
